Dr. Finn is Professor of Theology and the William E. and Virginia Clemens Chair in Economics and the Liberal Arts at St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota. He is pastpresident of both the Society of Christian Ethics and the Catholic Theological Society of America. A member of the Board of Trustees of USC’s Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies, his books include The Moral Ecology of Markets: a Framework for Assessing Justice in Economic Life (Cambridge, 2006) and The True Wealth of Nations: Catholic Social Thought and Economic Life (Oxford, 2010). He has received the Monica Hellwig Award for Outstanding Contributions to Catholic Intellectual Life from the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, the Thomas F. Divine Award for Lifetime Contributions to Social Economics and the Social Economy from the Association for Social Economics, and the Robert L. Spaeth Teacher of Distinction Award from Saint John’s University.
